What is gall bladder stones?

Gall bladder stones or Cholelithiasis is a condition where stones or calculi are formed in gall bladder. Gall bladder is a small pear shaped organ present just beneath the liver and helps to store and concentrate bile juice secreted by the liver before releasing it into small intestine for digestive purposes. Gall stones are a very common disorder affecting 20% of population. Though it can affect both genders and any age group it is more common among women, especially above forty years of age.

Gallbladder Stone Causes:

• Increased Cholesterol concentration: function of the gall bladder is to store bile juice. The risk factors for developing gall stones are:
